Back to school's eve - beauty in human nature

Tomorrow is back to school for the us, teachers and I'm starting in a new position in the "prestigious" Lycée Charlemagne.  The welcoming meeting is at the Bibliothèque des Jésuites, well I looked on the net to know more about this place, which is inside the Lycée. In the 16th century, Jesuits used to live and learn there. There is a magnificent staircase in the hall and also a painting of Giovanni Gherardini, a Jesuit painter on the ceiling which was miraculously found under a false ceiling.  I'll just put the link to the good article I read so that you can also enjoy the description of the place, even visit it if you happen to go that way in Paris.

Had a nice days, had lunch with M and F in a creperie iin Montparnasse then went with M to buy some stationery to be able to start working properly :-) at Gibert's then headed back home.  Had a nap cos' I didn't sleep so well last night so needed to catch up on sleep, so to say.

Yesterday, went to F to work, was nice, her youngest daughter baked some cupcakes.  We worked very well exchanging, chatting, she helped me see clearer and gave me important documents to give to the students passing the A-Level, such as modalities of the exams, assessment criteria and advice to prepare the exams.  F also gave me some textbooks, specimens that Sylvie - the colleague who went on short leave to look after her granddaughter -gave her.

Sometimes strange or always a curiosity to look at people in Paris, how stressed they can be, how individualist and not communicative at all they can be.  This summer, I've recovered communication, friendliness, warmth, humanity and almost altruism, I've also learnt to give more freely, not to hold on to possessions which are just fleeting and ethereal and not lasting whereas beauty, kindness, kindheartedness, humility, openness are genuine and truths.

Meditations and hypnosis are so soothing and so instructive, so are exchanges and the others.

Beauty is in nature as much as n humans too, just make it shine and if one can't or has forgotten to express it or that it existed, the other is there to remind him or to make it shine and be.
